About APS Psychotherapy
I have currently been running my practice for over 13 years now and have worked with a variety of emotional difficulties, phobias, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, anger management, childhood trauma, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, bereavement, difficulties in pregnancy, difficulties in conceiving, munchausens syndrome, narcissism, sexual confusion, OCD, sexual difficulties, relationship difficulties, commitment issues, addiction and much more. I am also a qualified Mediator and Family therapist. I also perform business workshops in relation to Psychological education. I set up APS and have created a team of therapists working alongside me enabling me to be able to refer to trusted colleagues when the need arises. I understand it can be difficult to request help, but as my website states my company is different, myself and my colleagues work in this environment because we genuinely believe in what we do and our goal is your goal. I personally work eclectically incorporating different therapeutic techniques incorporating Person Centred Therapy, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt therapy and more.My training, work experience and any achievement
I qualified as a therapist in 2000 and have had a full list of clients from when I commenced being a therapist and therefore have acquired approximately 12,000 hours of therapeutic experiance. I have worked with cultures from London, Pakistan, America, Canada, Japan and many more. I continue to work and develope to enhance my own skills and learning in relation to the standards and ethics required by my governing body BACP. I am a proficiency registered therapist with BACP and my details can be found on their website. My BACP membership number is 554371. You only have to take one step and call, once we have had a chat, you can then decide whether an appointment is appropriate for you or not.I also offer the abiltiy to have a double appointment for £120.00 rather than £140.00 for two separate sessions and the company is currently offering Low Cost Therapy. I am always happy to spend some time on the phone free of charge discussing with you, your reasons for coming to therapy, what to expect from therapy and usually offer some psychological education in relation to your enquiry whilst on the phone.
